Stu is the Chief Innovation Officer at uFlexReward. He supports all aspects of the business in a variety of ways. His mission is to build bridges between uFlexReward’s operational functions that drive innovation.
Originally a Master of Engineering from University College London, Stu stumbled into a total reward specialist role and never looked back, performing a plethora of technology based HCM roles throughout his career. He left Conduent a senior HCM technology consultant to join Unilever as global reward systems manager, before then joining uFlexReward. He has extensive knowledge and experience of total reward, market position management, compensation benchmarking, pay equity, pay review, flexible benefits and workplace insurances, plan design, global employee and employer tax, internal coms, and agile project management.
Stu is also highly technical, he leads software design, development, and delivery, and has extensive experience in enterprise IT. He can write code, understands several programming languages, and has studied database design at London City university. He is a Microsoft Stack expert who likes to get his hands dirty; he can build rich Bi reports, analytics, applications, and automation solutions, and will sew this into the uFlexReward platform where appropriate.
At the start of the Pandemic Stuart single-handedly built a (freebie) recognition application to help celebrate Unilever’s covid heroes; it is live and in constant use across 107 countries.
Stuart is a family-oriented Human; he has two young boys aged 4 & 7 (at the time of writing). He is a keen guitar player and a massive fan of the new scientist magazine!
