Ken Charman is CEO of uFlexReward. He is responsible for the overall performance of the company, which includes establishing the market for global digital reward management systems.
Since 1991, he has been an investor, board member, and working director in five successful software start-ups, where he played a key role in establishing new market categories for enterprise financial consolidation, reporting, planning and forecasting. These companies progressed to one IPO and four trade sales and are now owned by Oracle, SAP, IBM and SunGard. From 2006 to 2010 he was CEO of a start-up from the War Studies Department at King’s College London that developed highly realistic simulations based on military wargaming methodology to test grand strategy for governments and multinational firms (sold to Deloitte in 2010).
During his career Ken has acquired management experience in every function of a tech business including sales, business development, product development, professional services, country management, strategic partnerships and VP international.
He is an alumni of London Business School and completed an MSc in Major Programme Management at Oxford University (2012). He was a Visiting Senior Fellow in Strategy at King’s College London (2007-2011) and has been a Visiting Fellow in Health Inequality at Newcastle University since 2011 and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts since 2016.
